Gender binarism is the classification of gender into two distinct, opposite forms of masculine and feminine, whether by social system or cultural belief.

It basically means individuals’ sex, gender and sexuality are assumed by default to align, and people carrying different responsibilities at different age by what they are assigned rather than what their capabilities are. It creates institutionalized structures of power, which is what the word “diversity” against for. The concept of the human being as a 'person' is equal in an ideal world, but the 'functions' of different physiological sexes may differ depending on the physiological sex, for example, the capacity for athletics. Is it fair for a legally transgender female (i.e. male by biological sex), who is often more athletic than the average female, to participate in international women's sports?
